… to Family Property, a site which covers land and trusts in the family context. The site is currently undergoing reconstruction — if you have just discovered us, please bookmark and bear with us! You can receive email or Twitter updates of new posts –please  scroll down to the bottom of the page to sign up.

The site and blog are written by Sheila Hamilton Macdonald, a sole practitioner barrister with over 20 years’ experience of dealing with family trusts and money. It is primarily intended for use by other lawyers in the same fields of practice, but we hope that even if you are not a lawyer, you may find something of interest.

The intention is to give a full summary of fresh cases, which means the articles are slightly longer than usual blogposts: please be aware that you can print off any of the articles from the print button at the top or bottom of the post.

Sheila’s main website, giving more details of her practice and the work that she takes on, is at www.sheilamacdonaldbarrister.com; please click here. It takes a little while to load up at the moment because of some technical issues; hang in there, it will appear!

If you have any questions about Sheila’s work, be they general or specific, Sheila’s lovely clerks Kate and Emma are contactable on 0113 866 2094.
